I am ignoring the kitchen a little too much.. lol
I promise I will cook more and blog more...
Been doing a lot of homework of late.. Had work to complete... Had some opportunity at work to prove myself so it took up most of time. And have been working on a TOP SECRET personal project too..
Anyway, I can't ignore the curry mela can I?
We, I and my readers, have come to get used to the curry mela, And today.... is the silver anniversary, or is it weekiversary.... as I just realised...
Anyway, welcome to this special silver anniversary session of 25 week old Curry mela .. Thanks to evereyone for the support.. Next week, I will cook and post some nice Bachelor recipes too....

Check out this Eggplant curry - Kathirikkai Pulikkulambu , This spicy dil is best had with dal and papad says the blogger...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out this Semiya Kesari, This is prepared almost the way we prepare by replacing sooji with vermicelli... call it semiya or seviya, this is amazing stufff... specially for a sweet tooth like mine.. with the ghee, cashews and raisins and all that ....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ain't this Gobi manchurian delectable.. The best indo chinese invent... never mind the diplomats.. this food have made India and China instant relatives... Gobi manchurian if you should want to know is a Bangalore product :-), bangalore's gift to Indo-China Friendship efforts..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out this Sodhi cabbage cooked in Coconut milk, the coconut milk will give the much needed flavor to the usual almost bland cabbage.. It is amazing how coconut milk or grated coconut can transform such bland vegetables as cabbage and french beans..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out this Chicken Tikka Masala , or famously the CTM... an invent of the resourceful indians or more specifically DESIS( including Bangladesha and pak) in the UK for the Brits... Research (at least by Vir Sanghvi) couldn't find its roots to India....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I got this entry through my mail, I wondered what this fish packets could be, of course, it was enough that I saw fish in the title to tingle my taste senses, and but much pleasure reading and recording in my mind this very new recipe of preparing this fishy Snacks...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Puri masala as this, is a very touchy topic here at the bachelor cooking a very sweet lady friend of mine once invited me home. I promised myself that I will only pick on the food, but I ended up gobbling down almost 20 puris, and she kept serving.. I couldn't stand up and I never got an invite again lolzzz .... I rememebered this story aftre a long time a few days back when I saw Puri Bhaaji being served for breakfast at the company canteen... Did I mention that I had two plates and skipped lunch?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beautiful dish as this Risotto ai funghi e prezzemolo I can't even pronounce it, always gives me a little complex, considering that I self proclaimed a little while MYSELF that I was the maharajah of bachelor cooking :-)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can we have some more Chole Bhature now. Oily Bhatures and rich spicy CHole Masala, who cares about a few extra Kilos...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out this Cucumber Kichadi / Pachadi , Another new dish here at the Curry Mela ....
